So where’s the money at?

 

Certificate IV in Information Technology

Standard Length: 12-18 months

Certificate IV in IT with RPL Approval: 6-12 months

Median Income: $121,000

Demand: Very High.

While this is a lucrative choice and one that is in extremely high demand, entry to this course through a public TAFE or university may have some prerequisites. With no experience in the industry, applicants may need to study through a Registered Training Organisation.

 

Diploma in Work Health and Safety

Standard Length: 12-18 months

Diploma of Work Health and Safety with RPL Approval: 6-12 months

Median Income: $90,500

Demand: High.

Every big business needs work health and safety officers, not just lucrative industries like mining and manufacturing. This gives graduates the choice of industries, from high paying FIFO work to comfortable corporate jobs.

 

Diploma in Human Resource Management

Standard Length: 12-18 months

Diploma of Resource Management with RPL Approval: 6-12 months

Median Income: $127,100

Demand: Very High.

Human Resource Management at a diploma level allows graduates to work as a Human Resource Officer with pathways to management, specialist consulting, training and OHT.

 

Diploma of Business

Diploma of Business with RPL Approval: 6-12 months

Median Income: $117,100

Demand: Very High.

The Diploma of Business umbrella covers everything from compliance to leadership to communications so is a good choice for applicants who have a specific interest in the business field.

 

Diploma of Project Management

Standard Length: 12-18 months

Diploma of Business with RPL Approval: 6-12 months

Median Income: $76,600

Demand: High.
